We’ve profiled farm vacations as a group and individual ones (in Linda Feltman’s B&B column). They came to my attention again today when Michelle Nowak (of Maryland) emailed me about her blog, The Farm Stay Project, where she profiles farm-related properties operating as B&Bs in the Mid-Atlantic.

You can also find a listing of members of the Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association on their SITE. You can download their brochure HERE.

Stay cool this summer!

Head to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton to hike, watch soaring raptors and participate in programs about plants and animals native to Pennsylvania. And if you visit on Fridays between April 1 and August 31 you can enjoy Hawk Mountain for the bargain entry fee of 75 cents(regular fees are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for seniors). Why 75 cents? To help Hawk Mountain celebrate its 75 th anniversary. To learn more about programs happening at Hawk Mountain visit http://www.hawkmountain.org .

Here’s another site that I found recently. It’s a group of Pennsylvania photographers who have gathered their images on this site.

I recently ran across this site on the Internet, in case you’re seeking information on one of our many railroad-related attractions.
