Learn and practice how to collect, clean, save and store native seeds, including techniques on scarification and stratification techniques. Each participant will leave with seeds that he or she collected and cleaned.

 

Head to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary in Kempton to hike, watch soaring raptors and participate in programs about plants and animals native to Pennsylvania. And if you visit on Fridays between April 1 and August 31 you can enjoy Hawk Mountain for the bargain entry fee of 75 cents(regular fees are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for seniors).
